Jounal 5: Contest

A contest that I recently lost would be the one in Mr. Jaworsky's class for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He was able to take two extra students  from each class other than the students from his guitar club last year. The contest was a raffle, each person who wanted to go wrote their name on a paper and put it in a jar. It was a very unfair draw and Mr. Jaworsky used his mind powers to have Elliot and Tyler picked. I will never get to experience the feeling of walking through a hall of famous people. My life is ruined because of this, but I will have my revenge.

Journal post 4

One unusual thing I did this weekend was go to a salon to get my hair cut instead of a barber. The barber scalped me the last time I went like some kind of Indian. I decided to go to some salon by the mall instead of getting the top of my head cut off. It was different from what I was used to, with them rubbing their hands all over my head. It was definitely better than being scalped though.Oh, and there was a random Jamaican guy with what I guess was supposed to be his extremely white son for entertainment while I waited.

Journal 3: Blog Post

If I could change one thing in the world I would make it that there is no blogger on google, so then I would not need to post a blog every Friday. If there was no blogger then I would not need to take the time doing journals, something I am terrible at.  Everyone would be free of the terrible menace of blog posts. The blogger that did not save, even though it was supposed to after every word, causing me to retype it again. It haunts my nightmares, and will eventually blow up the planet because of blog post overload!

Ninja

If I had the choice of being a ninja or a pirate for day I would chose to be a ninja. I would rather be a ninja, because of their abilities and the cool weapons that come along with it. If I were a ninja I would be able to run along walls and cielings, and be a parkour master. I would have the ability to basicly teleport from shadow to shadow. As a ninja I would have  a mask, and cool sword thats abnormaly sharp. I would also want to be a ninja because Batman is one

Journal 1: Technology

Technology is an important aspect of my life. Technology is important because it pertains to almost everything whether it be transportation, electronics, housing, or other basic needs. Transportation which is technology in the form of vehicles is one of the most important. It is so important because it allows for cities to be possible. Without transportation it would not be possible to move food from a farm to the local grocery store, so everyone would need to live on their own farm. Electronic devices are a necessity in the way that they can deliver information almost  instantly. It alows for better communication among people and it would be terrible to not be able to google the answers to questions.

If Money was no Object

If money was no object I would become an artist. I enjoy drawing, painting and some origami. These are not things that I usually find time for ,but occasionally I will sketch  a picture or do some origami. I would enjoy being an artist, because for me art takes my full concentration and takes my mind off of everything else. I do not have an actual appreciation for looking at other paintings  and art, I have to participate for me to enjoy it. Pictures take a long time for me to complete because of a perfectionist attitude that I have for that particular aspect of art.
Art is important to society because it is constituted in most material possessions. Clothing is one in particular with all the designs that come on, shirts, shoes, and hats. Its also located on most books, games, albums, and posters .Without art, the world would be a lot more bland.

Most Valuable Person

The person I value most is my dad. He brings the support in my life that I need. He is the one that brings the calmness into my life. He helps me out whenever I have a problem, whether it be school or something else.
Him being able to support me really helps out. He helps out my mom by giving her child support which allows me to have the material items that I do. My dad has even started a college fund to help me for when I go and finish college. He has given the stability in my life, and that is my dad is the most valuable person in my life.

What I did this summer

The most exciting thing I did this summer was go to Cedar Point. I started my day at Cedar Point with the Rapter, since it had a short because it had broken down a few minutes before hand. After having my legs dangle while flying through the , I moved on to the Dragster. The Dragste consists of being shot off at 60mph while traveling up and then down 500ft. Next on my list of excitement was the Maveric. After 2 hours of waiting I got to enjoy an inverted fall that was followed by crazy twist and turns. I then went for the Gate Keeper but it happened to be the most boring roller coaster. The Gemini ended my day leaving me satisfied and with hurting feet.

My Name, Ryan

My name is a very common one. It can be seen on billboards, TV, and even the night sky. I have met a lot of people with my name. It can get pretty annoying when I have to share my name with the person next to me and be left guessing when someone calls out ”Ryan”.
When I was in baseball there were three other guys with my name. My name was Gordon when I was on the team. My coach would always call me Flash Gordon and I would have no idea what that meant. I always thought it had to do with my slow running.
The name “Ryan” comes from Irish and means “king”. My middle name, Michael, was passed down from my dad. It was the name of an archangel in the bible and means “who is like god”. My last name is Gordon and means “great hill”. Altogether my name means “King who is like god of the great hill.”

The #1 Rule

My number one rule in life is to not live in the past. Living in the past can only degrade present or future experiences, and cause a person to dwell on things that cannot be changed. No one can change the past; we can only learn from mistakes and choose not to repeat them. Learning from past mistakes is important in gaining life experience. Dwelling on the past can affect someone’s mental and physical health. If someone has a negative past experience that they do not let go of, they might get depressed or angry more often and be unable to move forward in life. If someone is angry or sad all of the time they might have difficulty with relationships and making new happy memories and experiences. I firmly believe that everyone should focus on the present and future and live life to the fullest. After all, we only live once.
